Between 2001 and 2004, Geri Halliwell wrote many songs for her third album project. Initially, the album was going to be called Disco Sister, focused on electropop, EDM and Europop sounds. Before the record label changed the concept of the album, many songs was scrapped, replacing some of the dance songs with ballads, jazz-pop, and electro-pop songs.
To promote the album, now called Passion, Channel 5 released a documentary called There’s Something About Geri, that premiered on 15 May 2005. In the documentary, Geri sings a song that was cut from Passion‘s sessions, called “Turn It On”. The song is registered in ASCAP (Work #502195977), and remains unreleased to date.
