“Open Your Eyes” is a unreleased album by Victoria Beckham that meant to be released between 2003-2004. After a $1.5 million pound signament on August 2002 with TelStar Records (Come Together) , the record label wanted to do a pop album with Victoria, and got with disagreement between what the singer wanted (a urban hip hop R&B album – After scrap the first intent of an album, the company started a legal battle with Come Together’s producer when they refuses to pay him for the job, believing that would flop in charts. Beckham then restarted the recording session producing a pop album. Even though the released of the doble-side single, “Let Your Head Go/This Groove” has been a hit, the former Posh Spice still couldn’t release her album, when the label went bankrupt in 2004. In the media, much of the blame for the label’s failure was placed on their most high-profile signing with Victoria Beckham. However, as most of Telstar’s artists, she wasn’t directly signed to the label, instead being sub-licensed. 11 Tracks from the album leaked on September 9th, 2006 and was named “Open Your Eyes”. A couple years later another demo CD from these pop sessions leaked after been sold on Ebay.
