Background:
Between 2001 and 2004, Geri Halliwell wrote many songs for her third album project. Initially, the album was going to be called Disco Sister, focused on electropop, EDM and Europop sounds. Before the record label changed the concept of the album, many songs was scrapped, replacing some of the dance songs with ballads, jazz-pop, and electro-pop songs.
“Geri’s Got Her Groove Back” was one of these unreleased and never leaked songs. Was registered in both BMI (#6752926) and ASCAP (#370668412). Rights to Reverb America Music.
